What this site is

ConcreteCalc is an independently operated experimental web project for Australian DIYers and tradies who need to turn measurements into a planning quantity. It does not sell concrete, accept supplier commissions or provide engineering services.

The calculators run in the browser and expose their working. The goal is to make each estimate easy to reproduce with a normal calculator rather than asking visitors to trust an unexplained number.

How content is maintained

Calculator formulas, units, rounding and product-yield assumptions are documented on the methodology and sources page. Material assumptions are checked against manufacturer or retailer information and dated when they can change. Corrections are prioritised over adding more pages.

Editorial independence

ConcreteCalc is not affiliated with Boral, Cement Australia, Bunnings or a ready-mix supplier. References to products or retailers identify the basis of an estimate; they are not endorsements.

Limits

The site estimates quantities only. It does not determine safe dimensions, reinforcement, concrete strength, site preparation, permits or compliance. Structural and regulated work should follow approved documentation and advice from an appropriately qualified professional.

Questions and corrections

If a result or source appears wrong, use the contact page. Include the calculator, inputs and expected result so the issue can be reproduced.
